Malachy Tallack

Malachy Tallack is a Scottish writer, singer-songwriter and journalist. He grew up in Shetland. In 2014 he received the Scottish Book Trust New Writers’ Award, followed by the Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship in 2015. His first book, »60º Nord«, was shortlisted for the Saltire First Book Award; »Von Inseln, die keiner je fand« was named Illustrated Travel Book of the Year at the 2016 Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards. His debut novel, »Das Tal in der Mitte der Welt«, was shortlisted for the 2018 Highland Book Prize and nominated for the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize.
