Cornelius Reiber (born 1973) studied German studies, history, and cultural studies in Cologne. He works as a translator from English and has translated works by, among others, Paul Theroux, Maggie Nelson, and Forrest Leo into German. His translations include Paul Theroux’s “Figures in a Landscape: People and Places,” Maggie Nelson’s “On Freedom: Four Songs of Care and Constraint,” and Forrest Leo’s novel “The Gentleman.”
