Lydia Daher (born in 1980 in Berlin) has worked as a poet and musician, developing literary projects at the intersection of music, radio drama, performance, and visual art. She has also worked as a curator of interdisciplinary cultural events and as a creative-writing instructor. Her texts and works have appeared in numerous German and international magazines and anthologies. Commissioned by the Goethe-Institut, she traveled to many countries as a poet and pop musician. Her work has received several awards and fellowships, including a working grant from the German Literature Fund. Her collaborative projects include the EP “Algier” and the photo-text book “Frisches Trauma,” created with photographer Gerald von Foris.
