Luise F. Pusch (born 1944) is a linguist, author and editor. She received her doctorate from the University of Hamburg and completed her habilitation in linguistics at the University of Konstanz in 1978. Pusch is regarded as one of the founders of feminist linguistics in Germany. Her books include “Das Deutsche als Männersprache” (1984), “Alle Menschen werden Schwestern” (1990), “Die Frau ist nicht der Rede wert” (1999) and “Sonja. Eine Melancholie für Fortgeschrittene” (1981). As an editor, she contributed to works including “WahnsinnsFrauen,” “Berühmte Frauenpaare” and “Berühmte Frauen: 300 Porträts.” In 1987, she founded the “Berühmte Frauen” calendar.
