Lucia Artner (Dr. phil.), born in 1982, is a cultural anthropologist and historian. She studied cultural anthropology and European ethnology as well as modern and contemporary history at Goethe University Frankfurt. From 2011 onward, she conducted research and worked at the Institute of Social and Organizational Education at the University of Hildesheim, including on the organization and material aspects of care and nursing work. Her academic topics also include ageing, feminist perspectives on care, ethnographic research methods, and transnational studies.
