Kristina Heldmann, born in Kassel in 1970, studied visual communication at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig. After receiving her diploma in 2000, she worked as a freelance illustrator in editorial, children’s books, and advertising. Her published works include the award-winning nonfiction book “Ohne Eis kein Eisbär” (“No Ice, No Polar Bear”). She originally developed and illustrated the stories of Bobs for her twin sons.
