Konrad Barner

Konrad Barner was born in 1930 in Ründeroth in the Oberberg district and grew up in Brechbach near Saarbrücken. He served as a Protestant pastor in Ludwigshafen and Steinbach am Donnersberg. From 1978 onward, he published theological texts with Gütersloher Verlagshaus. He also co-edited two anthologies by Protestant environmental officers and, from 1976 to 2000, prepared the documentation “Ökologische Aspekte” on behalf of the Evangelical Church in Germany. From 1976 to 2002, he was a member of the authors’ group for devotional readings at Saarland Radio.
