Kathrin Stangl, born in 1977, studied at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. She has received several awards for her printmaking and illustrations. In 2009, she joined the artists’ group SPRING. For Büchergilde, she illustrated, among other works, Ray Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451” and Françoise Sagan’s “Bonjour Tristesse.” She also designed Tolle Heft 26, “Wenn man so die Welt durchblickt,” featuring poems by Ernst Herbeck.
