Josef Joffe

Josef Joffe served as publisher of the German weekly DIE ZEIT from 2000. Before that, he headed the foreign affairs section of the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He taught international politics in Munich, at Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University, and began teaching at Stanford University in 2004. Joffe published numerous nonfiction books on international and American politics, including The Myth of America’s Decline (2013).
