Jordan Tannahill

Jordan Tannahill (born 1988 in Canada) is a Canadian author, playwright and director. His plays have been translated into more than ten languages, and two received the Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama, Canada’s highest state literary prize. His novels include Liminal and The Buzzing: A Sequoia Crescent Story, the latter of which was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. In 2019, CBC Arts named Tannahill one of the most influential LGBTQ Canadians. The idea for The Buzzing was inspired in part by his interest in people who perceive a mysterious hum.
