John Bolton

John R. Bolton, born in 1948, is an American politician and diplomat. He served in the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush and was Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security under George W. Bush. From 2005 to 2006, he served as the United States ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton was National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump from April 2018 until his resignation in September 2019.
