Steve Dillon

Steve Dillon (1962–2016) was an English comic-book artist. At the age of 16, he drew his first Hulk stories for Marvel UK. He later worked on British series including Doctor Who, Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper, which appeared in publications such as 2000 AD. In 1988, he co-founded the magazine Deadline with Brett Ewins. For American publishers, Dillon drew Animal Man, Hellblazer, Preacher, Wolverine, Ultimate Avengers, Thunderbolts and numerous Punisher stories. From 1992, he first collaborated with writer Garth Ennis on Hellblazer; the two later created Preacher together.
