Joe Quesada

Joe Quesada, born in 1962, is an American comic-book writer, artist, and editor. In the 1990s, he co-founded Event Comics with Jimmy Palmiotti, where they developed characters and series including Ash and Painkiller Jane. From 1998 onward, they oversaw Marvel Knights, a label that revitalized characters such as the Punisher, Daredevil, and Black Widow. Quesada provided art for notable projects including Daredevil: Guardian Devil, Spider-Man: One More Day, and the debut of Azrael. He later wrote Iron Man, NYX, and Daredevil: Father. He served as Marvel’s editor-in-chief from 2000 to 2010 and as the company’s chief creative officer from 2010 to 2022.
