Jim Kay

Jim Kay studied illustration at the University of Westminster. He subsequently worked for the archives of Tate Britain in London and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew before working as a freelance illustrator. In 2012, he received the Kate Greenaway Medal and the German Youth Literature Prize for his illustrations for Patrick Ness’s novel *A Monster Calls*.
