Jerry Ordway

Jerry Ordway (born 1957) is an American comics artist who worked as a writer, penciller and inker on numerous Superman stories in the 1980s and 1990s. In the 1990s, he helped integrate the magical hero Shazam into the modern DC Universe with the graphic novel and ongoing series „The Power of Shazam!“. His other work includes „Infinity, Inc.“, „Wonder Woman“, „Fantastic Four“ and „Avengers“. As an inker, he worked over drawings by artists including Jack Kirby, Curt Swan, John Buscema, Gil Kane and John Byrne, as well as George Pérez’s artwork for „Crisis on Infinite Earths“. His covers for „The Power of Shazam!“ earned him two Eisner Award nominations.
