Jakob Schmidt

Jakob Schmidt is a translator, author, and bookseller. He has translated works by authors including Kim Stanley Robinson and Stephen King into German. He received the Kurd-Laßwitz-Preis twice for his translations of science fiction. In 2016, his new German translation of Frank Herbert’s science-fiction classic »Dune« was published. Schmidt was also a co-owner of the Berlin bookshop Otherland.
