Howard Chaykin

Howard Chaykin (born 1950) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is best known for the series “American Flagg!”, which he wrote and illustrated, and for “Black Kiss.” For Marvel and DC, he worked on titles including “Star Wars,” “The Punisher,” “Wolverine,” “Blade,” and “Blackhawk.” He also wrote or drew stories featuring Dominic Fortune, Conan, the Avengers, Batman, Superman, Buck Rogers, and Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. His career in the American comics industry spans more than three decades.
