Gregor Dotzauer

Gregor Dotzauer was born in Bayreuth in 1962. He studied German literature, philosophy and musicology, and subsequently wrote about literature and film for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Zeit and the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In 1999, he became a literary editor at the Berlin newspaper Der Tagesspiegel. He also published essays in journals including text + kritik, Kursbuch and Sinn und Form. In 2009, he received the Alfred Kerr Prize for Literary Criticism.
