Gerda Ridler

Gerda Ridler is an art historian and cultural manager as well as a court-certified expert in post-1945 art. From 2004 to 2010, she was the founding director of Museum Ritter, a private museum in Waldenbuch near Stuttgart, and from 2013 to 2018 she served as scientific director of the Upper Austrian State Museum in Linz. In 2022, she assumed the artistic directorship of the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich in Krems an der Donau. As a curator and author, she has been responsible for numerous exhibitions and publications on contemporary and concrete art.
