Gabriele Wix

Gabriele Wix is a scholar of literature and textual studies whose work focuses on the intersection of art and literature. She received her doctorate from the University of Bonn in 2009 with a dissertation on Max Ernst. Her publications include “Max Ernst. Maler, Dichter, Schriftsteller” (2009), “Nach bildende Kunst / After Fine Art. Lawrence Weiner” (2012), and “Lektüren. Zu den Künstlerbüchern des Schweizer Malers Stefan Steiner” (2013). Wix was part of the editorial team for the four-volume Thomas Kling edition (Berlin, 2020). In 2022, she edited the volume “Max Ernst: Die Schriften.”
