Frida Nilsson

Frida Nilsson (born 1979) is a Swedish author of children’s books. She has published books for children since 2004, including the Hedvig series and Sasja and the Realm Beyond the Sea. Her work has been translated into many languages and has received several awards. In 2014, she received the Astrid Lindgren Prize, and in 2019 she was awarded the James Krüss Prize for International Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Sasja and the Realm Beyond the Sea also received the 2019 Jahres-Luchs award from the German weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. She has been nominated several times for the German Youth Literature Prize.
