Fania Oz-Salzberger (born 1960 in Israel) is an Israeli historian and intellectual. She earned her doctorate at Oxford with a dissertation on the German Enlightenment and taught history at the University of Haifa, including at its Faculty of Law and Centre for German and European Studies. She was also a fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin and a visiting professor at Princeton University, Monash University, and LMU Munich. Her books include *Israelis in Berlin* (2001) and *Jews and Words* (2013), written with her father, Amos Oz. Her distinctions include an honorary doctorate from Uppsala University (2020), the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Grimm Prize (both 2021).
