Born in Berlin in 1958, el.doelle studied sculpture under the sculptor Wieland Förster. Work stays took el.doelle to Lisbon, Paris, and Mumbai. Together with Tanja Langer, el.doelle developed the book *Das Haus*, which was inspired by the project *westgreussen – für immer fort und ganz vergangen*, exhibited several times. In 2016, el.doelle received a scholarship from the Art Foundation of Saxony-Anhalt for the artistic intervention *remember me* at the Naumann Museum in Köthen.
