David M. Carr

David M. Carr, born in 1961, is an American biblical scholar. He earned an MTS degree from Emory University in 1983 and a PhD from Claremont Graduate University in 1988. From 1988 to 1999, he was Professor of Biblical Interpretation at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. His academic positions also include a professorship in Hebrew Bible at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
