Dan Mora

Dan Mora was born in Costa Rica in 1987. He studied art, initially worked as a teacher, and published comics in his home country before beginning to work for US publishers in the 2010s. In 2016, he received the Russ Manning Award for best newcomer. His notable work includes Klaus, written by Grant Morrison; Hexed, written by Michael Alan Nelson; the Buffy comic reboot by Jordie Bellaire; and the fantasy series Once & Future by Kieron Gillen. Mora also drew stories featuring the Power Rangers and WWE wrestlers, as well as work for Batman/Superman: World’s Finest and Detective Comics.
