Christoph Nonn

Christoph Nonn (born 1964 in Leverkusen, Germany) studied history, social sciences and English at the University of Trier and the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Before moving to Düsseldorf, he was a Privatdozent and Heisenberg Fellow at the University of Trier. In 2002, he became Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, where he also held the chair in Modern and Contemporary History and the History of North Rhine-Westphalia.
