Catherine Cusset

Catherine Cusset, born in Paris in 1963, studied at the École Normale Supérieure. From 1990 to 2002, she taught French literature at Yale University. Her novels include *Le problème avec Jane* (published in German as *Janes Roman*), which received the Grand Prix Littéraire des Lectrices de Elle, *Confessions d’une radine* (*Bekenntnisse einer Geizigen*), and *Un brillant avenir*, which won the 2008 Prix Goncourt des Lycéens. Her novels were translated into 18 languages.
