Brendan Simms (born 1967) is a historian and professor of the history of international relations at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on the geopolitics and history of Europe and on Germany’s history in the European context. His books include »Die Briten und Europa. Tausend Jahre Konflikt und Kooperation« (2018), »Hitler. Eine globale Biographie« (2020), and »Der längste Nachmittag. 400 Deutsche, Napoleon und die Entscheidung von Waterloo« (2014).
