Antje Drescher

Antje Drescher was born in Rostock in 1972 and studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. From 1999 onward, she worked for various publishers in the children’s and young adult book sector. Her illustrations were shown in several exhibitions in Germany and abroad. In 2015, the picture book “Der Ernst des Lebens,” written by Sabine Jörg and illustrated by Drescher, was nominated for the German-French Youth Literature Prize.
