Daniel Napp

Daniel Napp, born in 1974 in Nastätten, Rhineland-Palatinate, studied design with a focus on illustration in Münster. He worked as a freelance author and illustrator and created numerous picture books and children’s books. His notable works include the »Dr. Brumm« series and »Bauer Beck fährt weg«, as well as illustrations for »The Little Water Sprite« and classics by Otfried Preußler. Napp received several awards, including the Paderborner Hase in 2008 for »Schnüffelnasen an Bord« and the 16th Heidelberger Leander in 2014. He was also selected four times for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
