Anthony Wynne was the pseudonym of the Scottish physician and author Robert McNair Wilson (1882–1963), who was born in Glasgow. Wilson wrote books in various genres. Under the name Anthony Wynne, he created Eustace Hailey, a psychiatrist and amateur detective who features as the main character in many of his 45 crime novels.
