Anna Funck

Anna Funck (born 1980 in Lübeck) is a German journalist, television presenter, producer and author. After training as a television presenter and editor at RTL, she joined the public broadcaster MDR in 2008. There, she hosted the program “Sachsenspiegel” and reported live from Dresden’s Semperoper Ball. She became known through the ARD series “Wir sind überall” and an international travel format for which, from 2011 onward, she reported from places including New Delhi, Istanbul and Dubai. Following the birth of her second daughter and the death of her mother, she began writing books. Her nonfiction titles include “Egal, ich ess das jetzt,” which became a SPIEGEL bestseller, and “Erleuchtung to go”.
