Andrea Bajani

Andrea Bajani, born in Rome in 1975, grew up in Piedmont. The Italian writer and journalist has published essays, newspaper articles and novels, including With My Best Wishes, Lorenzo’s Journey and The Anniversary. For Lorenzo’s Journey, he received several awards, including the Premio Mondello. The Anniversary won the Premio Strega, one of Italy’s most important literary prizes, in 2025. Bajani also worked as an editor at the Turin-based publishing house Bollati Boringhieri and dedicated the book Do You Recognize Me? to the writer Antonio Tabucchi, with whom he shared a longstanding friendship.
