Amani Abuzahra is a PhD philosopher, author and public speaker. Her academic and public work has addressed subjects including anti-Muslim racism, the philosophy of tolerance, politics of recognition, social participation and diversity. She has taught at universities in Austria and abroad and has worked at the intersection of academia, politics and practice. For her social engagement, she received the 25 Frauen Award from EDITION F and Die Zeit in the category “Women who change society with their voice.”
