Alexandra Scheele

Alexandra Scheele, PD Dr. habil., is a sociologist and university lecturer at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University. Her research focuses on the sociology of work and economic sociology, gender relations, digital capitalism, pay inequality, crisis dynamics and intersectional inequalities. She serves on the editorial board of „Femina Politica. Zeitschrift für feministische Politikwissenschaft“ and is a co-editor of the book series „Arbeit – Demokratie – Geschlecht“. Her publications include a chapter on Economic and Monetary Union in The Routledge Handbook of Gender and EU Politics (2021).
