This. Book. Was. Everything.😭 It was sad, heartbreaking, but also so full of hope and absolutely beautiful. The found family? PERFECTION. The De Laineys were pure chaos in the best way. I loved their shenanigans so much, I actually laughed out loud multiple times. And Moxie? Total badass. Tough, loyal, and just awesome. Now let’s talk about the brothers. Oh. My. God. My heart ached for Sam and Avery. They’re both so imperfect, but that’s exactly what made them feel so real. The autism rep was handled so well too. Sammy broke my heart into tiny little pieces. He’s just a boy who wants a home and keeps messing up along the way. I cried. A lot. Like ugly cried. But despite all the pain, there’s so much love and hope in these pages. No one in this book is perfect, and that’s what makes them so special. It’s raw, emotional, and beautiful in the most human way. I’m obsessed. Found family supremacy forever.
