A classic case of "I laughed and I cryed and I loved every minute of it." Especially the beginning is just so light, soft and adorable - I physically couldn't stop myself from smiling and laughing out loud the whole time (sorry @ everyone for reading it in public). Later I cried. Arthur has no chill and neither does this story. Becky and Adam showed us some amazing takes on friendship, love, and everything in between, and taught us a lesson about the importance of working on (platonic and romantic) relationships, no matter how scared you are of fucking it up. It might be worth it. "I don't know if we're a love story or a story about love." Also, I hate the ending but it's a good ending. I love to hate it.
This book was recommended to me as 5/5, so I‘m not sure if my expectations were too high, but… this one didn‘t catch me at all. Don‘t get me wrong, the two main characters are very cute and even cuter together, but it lacked insight into their emotions and feelings for me. Sadly there were so many supporting characters that are name-dropped every other sentence, but play such a small roll and lack distinct character traits, that some of them just merged into one person in my head. Also, while I am a huge Harry Potter and Star Wars fan, the constant mentioning of both just got on my nerves. I don‘t see how it helps the story in any way. Oh and I absolutely hated the ending! So overall a pretty cute, but not very deep romance, that just left me thinking of what could have been…
This book was really really good I kind of fell in love with the book. I just couldn’t stop smiling while reading.
I mean.. wtf.. I just finished 'What if it's Us' and I'm sitting in my bed and I'm crying. I don't even exactly know why I'm crying but I am. This book is just... I don't know.. you have to read it. I laughed, I smiled, I grinned (a lot!). I was happy for them, I felt bad for them... I was just feeling it. And the end.. I mean.. I don't know. It's just beautiful in its own way and a example how life can be. It's a masterpiece. I wanna read it again. As bad as I wanna read Simon vs. Again. I just wanna feel the love and the pain all over again.
