Yasuhiko Nishizawa

Yasuhiko Nishizawa (1960–2025) was a Japanese author born in Akashi. He studied creative writing in the United States before returning to Japan, where he wrote crime novels. He also worked as a high-school teacher. In 1990, he was shortlisted for the renowned Tetsuya Ayukawa Award. The Man Who Died Seven Times was his first novel translated into German.
