Wolfgang Welt

Wolfgang Welt was born in Bochum in 1952 and died there in 2016. During the 1980s, he worked as a freelance music journalist for various magazines. In 1984, he published “Peggy Sue,” the first part of his autobiographical novel series. He received a fellowship from the Hermann Lenz Foundation in 2002. A collection of his works, “Buddy Holly auf der Wilhelmshöhe,” was published by Suhrkamp Verlag in 2006.
