Wolf Lotter (born 1962 in Mürzzuschlag, Austria) is an author and business journalist. After training as a bookseller, he studied history, communication studies and cultural management in Vienna. In the late 1980s, he turned to business journalism. In 1999, he was a founding member of the business magazine brand eins, where he worked as lead essayist and in the editorial area for features and development until 2022. His journalistic work focuses particularly on transformation, innovation and economic change. Lotter was also a founding member of PEN Berlin and contributed to publications including taz, profil, Der Standard and Spiegel.de.
