Winfried Nerdinger (born 1944) is an architectural historian. He was Professor of Architectural History at the Technical University of Munich and directed its Architecture Museum from 1989 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, he served as the founding director of the Munich Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism. Nerdinger has published extensively on the art and architectural history of the 18th to 20th centuries, including a comprehensive catalogue of Walter Gropius’s work and books on the Bauhaus and Munich under National Socialism.
