William Boyle

William Boyle is from Brooklyn and grew up in the Gravesend neighborhood. He is the author of several crime novels, including *Gravesend*, *Einsame Zeugin*, *Brachland*, *Eine wahre Freundin*, and *Shoot the Moonlight Out*. *Gravesend* was included on Germany’s Krimibestenliste in 2017 and was nominated in France for the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière and shortlisted in the United Kingdom for the John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger. *Einsame Zeugin* was also nominated for the Hammett Prize and the Grand Prix de Littérature Policière. *Eine wahre Freundin* won France’s Prix Transfuge du meilleur polar étranger, while *Brachland* was named one of the Washington Post’s Best Thriller and Mystery Books of 2020.
