Walburga Freund-Spork

Walburga Freund-Spork studied German and history at the University of Münster. She worked as a secondary-school teacher and subject coordinator for German at lower secondary level, contributed to the German curriculum for North Rhine-Westphalia, and held positions in teacher training and at the lower-secondary teacher-training seminar in Paderborn. She published articles on the teaching of literature and on literary studies, including work on Heinrich Heine, contemporary novellas and novels, and modern essay writing. She also wrote study guides and interpretive materials for various educational and academic publishers.
