Verena Kast

Verena Kast (born 1943 in Wolfhalden) is a psychologist and psychotherapist. She was a professor of psychology at the University of Zurich and worked as a lecturer and training analyst at the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich. She also practiced as a psychotherapist for many years. From 2014 to 2020, she served as president of the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich and as scientific director of the Lindau Psychotherapy Weeks. Kast has published numerous books on emotions, psychotherapy, and the interpretation of fairy tales and dreams.
