Uwe Mayer

Uwe Mayer is a freelance illustrator and author. He studied art history at the University of London and previously spent more than twenty years in England, where he began his career as an illustrator. Mayer has worked for numerous publishers in Germany and abroad. His publications include the picture book *Die Laufmaschine*.
