Uwe Becker

Uwe Becker was born in Krefeld in 1963 and studied biology. During his studies, he travelled to places including Tenerife, the Ivory Coast and Zimbabwe. In the 1990s, he began writing poetry for children. In 2011, he created Zipfelmaus, a mouse detective with a striped bobble hat, who first appeared in the garden mystery novel “Zipfelmaus jagt den Vogeldieb.”
