Udo Smialkowski

Udo Smialkowski was born in Lower Saxony and has been drawing since the age of five. Before working as a comic artist and illustrator, he held various jobs, including electrician, soldier, and sales clerk, and studied. From 1996 onward, he worked as a freelance artist, primarily in children’s and young adult literature. He wrote his stories himself or together with a friend, and occasionally adapted books into comic scripts.
