Udo Friedrich

Udo Friedrich was Professor of Older German Language and Literature at the University of Cologne until 2022. His research and publications focused on the orders of knowledge in the early modern period, the cultural semiotics of the Middle Ages, and the function of topoi in medieval narrative.
