Udo Bernhart

Udo Bernhart (born 1956 in Bolzano) is a photographer and photojournalist who grew up in South Tyrol’s Vinschgau valley. He worked as a freelance photographer for more than 40 years and undertook assignments and reportage trips to regions around the world, including Tierra del Fuego, China, Alaska and Kamchatka. His photographs and texts appeared in German and international magazines, including Time Magazine, Abenteuer & Reisen and ADAC Reisemagazin. He published numerous photo reportages and illustrated books. In 1996, he received an award from the German Association for Photography for the best solo exhibition.
