Trude Teige

Trude Teige, born in 1960, is a Norwegian journalist, television presenter, and author. She has written crime novels featuring television journalist Kajsa Coren, including *The Boy Who Swore Revenge*, *The Girl Who Kept Silent*, and *The House of Lies* (German titles: »Der Junge, der Rache schwor«, »Das Mädchen, das schwieg«, and »Das Haus der Lügen«). She also published the historical novels »Als Großmutter im Regen tanzte« and »Und Großvater atmete mit den Wellen«, which explore Norway’s postwar period and the impact of historical experiences on later generations. In researching »Als Großmutter im Regen tanzte«, she visited Berlin and Demmin. Her works have been translated into several languages. Teige has three adult children.
